Drops that occur within the first two weeks from the designated start date for structured courses, alternative learning courses, e.g., online and open learning courses, that are more than eight weeks in length.
Drops that occur within the first week from the designated start date for courses that are eight weeks or less in length but more than two days.

Enrollment Verification

Students may request enrollment verifications for insurance and other purposes in one of two ways:

How to request an evaluation: To receive credit for courses taken at other regionally accredited colleges and universities, you must have an official copy of your transcript sent directly from the prior institution to John Wood Community College Office of 招生. Once you have applied for admission your transcript will automatically be evaluated, based upon your declared area of concentration.

什么传输: JWCC transfer credit policies can be found in the “Policy on Accepting Credit in Transfer, or Credit for Previous Education” section of the current JWCC college catalog.

CLEP/AP/DANTES credit: JWCC does recognize credit for proficiency exams such as CLEP, AP, and DANTES. To request such credit, you must send official score reports directly from the testing agency to the JWCC Office of Enrollment Services. 信贷不 be awarded without original score reports from the testing agency.

Student Leave Policy

Student Leave Policy

If health or other unique circumstances make it difficult for a student to successfully continue their classroom engagement at John Wood Community College the student may request a leave of absence for up to six consecutive terms (Fall, 春天, 夏季). Students granted leave of absence will 不 be required to reapply to the college and will retain their academic standing established during the term prior to the start of their leave of absence. Leaves of absence under this policy are determined by the Student Leave of Absence Advisory Group and under the supervision of the Dean of Student Affairs. This policy adheres to the Return to Title IV (R2T4) process, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and transparency regarding any financial implications for the student.
